Respected Sir/Madam, RNVO Roma 2002 is a network of 9 Roma civil society organizations, and at the same time one of the key actors of the civil society in the development of public policies targeting or mainstreaming Roma. As a structure, the network incorporates professional capacities and activism dedicated to lobbying and advocacy for the integration and development of the Roma community. Member organizations of the network cover the whole country and a wide range of areas relevant to the Roma community, such as human rights, gender and youth issues, legal issues, education, health, employment, housing, political participation, etc. RNGO Roma 2002 participated in the preparation of the National Strategy for Roma with its comments, as well as in the Decade of Roma Inclusion 2005-2015 National Action Plans through its representatives in the Government’s Coordinative Body for this initiative.
In the last ten years, the globalization as a world process intensifies the process of construction and political articulation of the ethnical identities.
The decade of Roma 2005-2015 that officially started on 2nd of February 2005 with Central European summit against discrimination of Roma is supported of 8 states.
